    their hyper Z thing is suposed to let you change the z buffer depth independent of the color depth, but i can do that now with my g400, and it never seemed that special to me.

    is there more to this hyperZ thing?

      Here's a good review of the Radeon that actually gets some info from a guy at ATi about what Hyper-Z really is. It's more than just independent Z-depth...
