  • Matrox Fusion

I ask some time to the Matrox staff info about their new product. Top secret.
My guess is that matrox are creating a special chip whit programmable register (DX8 add this new features). Matrox are working now very close with the amiga to create a very 3d monster not in term of performance but in term of quality. But the italian magazine speak about matrox that leave the 3d competition.
    Sorry for my english

After having 4 Amigas (2000, 2x 3000, 4000) in my family, I am looking forward to adding a Matrox powered Amiga to my workbench sometime in the future. Details appear to be sketchy at best right now, but I'm hoping that the new Amiga will follow it's predecessor's heritage of having the best 3d capabilities available to the home consumer.

*fondly remembers showing off how a 16mhz Amiga could run rings aroung PCs 4 times as fast*
