  • Who sent message to me about Registry Entry for Win2k Vid Tools?

I had posted a message about a problem with getting the vid tools to work in "cable" mode. Someone had sent me an email, but I deleted it along with my junk mail =(

If you're out there could you reply?

By the way, I tried your recommendation of checking this registry entry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Matrox\Vidpres\General \

Cable was already set to "1". I tried changing it to 0 and 2, but neither worked.

I did some image captures to show what the problem is:

This pic is of the Quick Connect and how it displays channel 14 when cable is selected. (I click on save)

This is the pic afterwards when I try channel 14 or higher in the PC-VCR

    thnx!

Prolly obvious, but are you SURE you are "saving" the quick connect info?

Looks like PC/VCR is dropping back to default (antenna).

I'd suggest that you go through the whole setup routine again. I've done it meself hundreds of times with no problem. Hmm.
