  • Mystique220 & Rainbow Runner Problems

    Hi Paul,

    Try this ftp://ftp.matrox.com/pub/mga/millennm/utils/irqset3.exe

It's a utility to help fix IRQ and edge/level problems for the rainbow runner

Hope it does the trick for you

    Chris

    Mystique220 & Rainbow Runner Problems

I don't know if you can help me, I am desperate now & any help would be greatfully received.

I have a collegues PC in which he has the following hardware:

    Jetway J-9LXA mainboard
    32Mb DIMM
    PII - 233 CPU
Matrox Mystique 220 Graphics Card (driver 3.8)
Matrox Rainbow Runner Add On.(driver 2.2

The problem I am having is that when we try to record anything, only 1 or two frames are recorded, despite the fact that the recording counter shows the file size continually increasing.

The TV image is appearing on the VDU ok & it is also passing through to the TV ok. It also displays the playback ok (allbeit, only the 1 or two fields which have been recorded).

Finally, I am aware of the PCI setting in BIOS (Edge & Level). However, the BIOS on this board (AWARD) does not appear to have a setting for this. I have looked on the Jetway sites for a BIOS upgrade but there does not appear to be one. Is this a fault with LX chipsets?

Please help me. This is the final stumbling block. I don't want to tell him its a new Mainboard or nothing.
    Paul C
