  • HELP! My Matrox G400 Marvel wont show a thing!!!!!

    Please some help!

I recently built a new PC with an Asus CUSL2.
    Now, with a P3 667, 128Mb 133Mhz Dimm and my G400 Marvel, the board
    boot's, post's but doesn't show a video signal! I allready disabled onboard
video and even set the graphics priority to AGP/PCI, but the G400 won't show
    a thing!
I tried it on an older slot-1 board and it worked fine. Could it be
something about the AGP pro slot? I didn't remove the tab because the G400
isn't an AGP pro card. I don't know if the extra plastic that fits in the
AGP slot is causing the problem, and i fear to break it.
    I'm in a real fix!
My older Mystique PCI works fine, with or without the onboard vga, and
the onboard vga works too, but i can't seem to get the Matrox working.
I'm trying to get my hands on a Millenium G200 to see if it works well.
I have the bios rev. 1001.a.
I don't say wich cards i have because this happens even with just the
    matrox in there.

    Thanks in advance!

Just a post to bring you up to the top again. If you don't get a useful reply, I'd suggest that you go to matrox's official forum with your problem here:

Sorry I don't have more help, but this is a MB that I know nothing about, and it does look like a MB problem.

    Good Luck!
