  • Should I upgrade my G200's BIOS?

    Hi everyone
I have a Millenium G200 (8 MB SDRAM) with graphics BIOS ver. 2.6-20. I’m having absolutely no problems with it and everything runs perfectly. In such a case, is it advisable to upgrade to the latest BIOS revision? The only benefit possible for me would be improved performance (since everything else is fine), so would the upgrade improve performance?
Also, would the new Win98 drivers (PD6) require the graphics BIOS to be flashed to the latest version? Please advise!
    Thanks

I have a Marvel G200, and the latest BIOS, but PD 5.41. I don't see any improvements, but I didn't have any problems.

I think the 2.7 BIOS gives you DOS TVOUT options, and I am using it in my G200 (with RRG200, DVDMod, TVOUTMod, etc) without a hitch.
      BTW, 2.6 worked ok also.....

        Thanks
In that case I don't think I need to update my G200's BIOS
        Cheers
