  • AGP 2x w/ MSI K7 Pro and G400 Max??

I have an Athlon T-bird on the way and was curious as to whether anyone has used a G400 Max with an AMD 751 Chipset (K7 Pro or Asus K7M). I hear there are problems getting vid cards to run AGP 2x. Any fixes out there or anyone have experience with this prob?

I Don't want to use KX133 VIA chipset as they don't work well with T-Birds running over 800 MHz, so that's not a solution.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I have several customers that claim this combination works perfect and I've always recommended them.

I've used my G400 MAX @ AGP 2x sucessfully in both an MSI 6167, and MSI 6195/K7 Pro.
