  • G100 + Voodoo1 + Via chipset?

After so many reply for my network problem, i recommended this site to my brother who was having problem with my old G100 (AGP) and a Voodoo1.
    ----------------
motherboard TMC TI5VG+ Via chipset vZ6-0525
    AMD K6/2-500
    Matrox MGA-G100/B8 AGP BIOS v1.6.022 driver v5.0.2195.1030
Diamond Monster Voodoo 3Dfx unsigned win2k driver

    Symptoms:
No video output at boot up when using passthrough from G100 to Voodoo.
Same problem in win98 and win2k (no video before OS loads).
    Passthrough cable is ok.
Voodoo card works in a different PC.
All drivers and BIOS are most recent version.
Win2k detects both cards and devices are enabled.
Tried Voodoo card in different PCI slots.
Memory allocation for G100 and Voodoo are well apart.
Same problem with different AGP video card (but not tried a PCI card)

Some reported incompatability problems with G100 and Voodoo1, all documented
    workarounds tried.

    -------------------------

I know its a bit old now, but does anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers
