  • G400 & WIN2K Problem

    Hi Guys,

I installed the latest G400 drivers on a clean WIN2K VGA system. Installation seemed troubleless, but after the reboot and the WIN2K bootscreen I get an infamouse BLUE screen saying:
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    Where to look ??

PS. running an ATHLON 700 on a ASUS K7V

Wich drivers? 5.06? 5.10? Remember these are beta releases and my not work properly in every system.

The computer worked fine before win2k/G400 drivers install?

Page faults smell like fishy RAM memory.

      I tried the 5.10 drivers.

I'm running dual boot, WIN98SE no problems, WIN2K had no problems until I installed my G400 DH

      I guess I'll try the latest non-beta......

        Oops,

It turned out to be my CPU frequency setting of 103 iso 100 MHz on my K7V board.
Apparently Win2K is a bit more picky then WIN98SE which ran absolutely fine on this setting.

Wow, it did not like bus speed at 103. I think it your motherboard and combination with win2k because my bus speed is at 115 and is spec to be only at 100. I am also running win2k. So far, after 4 months, no problems.
