  • Subtitling an AVI or similar

    Hi!

I've just got myself a Marvel G400 and I'm looking for a solution that allows me to put subtitles on AVI's or MPEG's.
Th included software is no good, Premiere is laborious.

Does anyone know of a less work-intensive solution?

If you're interested in spending a few bucks, MediaStudio Pro uses five separate utilities for its tasks: Audio Editor (stinks), Video Editor (rocks), Video Capture (s'ok), Video Paint (only if you have the patience), and a standalone animated titling program called CG Infinity, which sounds like just what you want.

      Hi Gendoh,

The subtitling has really bad support in whatever NLE package (that I have seen), maybe this is because the software is written on the other side of the pond, where they don't need it that much (otherwise it would have better support).

This guy has something brewing, the program is still in betastage, but maybe worth a look.
