  • Quick question(s) about VIA 4 in 1 drivers.

    Should I install them????
    Specs:

Matrox Millenium G400 with PKY's latest drivers installed. Including latest 1.09 bios installed.

AMD-751 Athalon @ 650mhz with a Asus K7M series slot A motherboard. (Bios currently just been flashed) IDE driver updated to 2.1.43 as well as 751-miniport agp driver updated to 4.45.

I'm guessing it upgrades my AGP to ver:2.00.
Do you think anymore updates should be installed for my matrox? My motherboard? Do I need agp 2.0?

Are the VIA drivers any use to me?

    Thanks for being patient

If you have a K7M installing the Via patchs won't help anything related to AGP.
The northbridge of this mainboard is AMD's 750 chipset not via's KX133.
You should install the latest AMD AGP patch that you may find on their website (I think the latest release is v4.6).
The southbridge is from VIA though. So you only get the new IDE drivers.
