  • Strange reboot with PD6.0.10

I don't know if it was due to the drivers.

I had some problems with Netscape and rebooted Windows98 only, holding down Shift while through the Start menu I rebooted the PC.

All went well until Windows was trying to get the desktop back up, then my complete PC rebooted itself, tried to start in Safe mode, but couldn't. I had to power down and restart the PC completely, and when I got back in Windows I had 640x480x16 colours, and Windows loading the driver database.

I had 3 more reboots before I was back at my 1152x864x32bit desktop, 32bit z-buffering on etc.

Then I tried another reboot with holding the shift button down... booom, same effect !! No error message when it hits windows, nothing, just a total reboot of the PC.

And yes, I used the pd5.xx uninstaller for removing the PD5.55 I was using.

    Jord.
