  • What about DH in W2K?

I just wanted to get some info on when I will be able to get full functionality from my G400 DH in W2K.

The thing is that I bought G400 specificaly to use two monitors, another one from our server, which is 15'. And since I am developer I am using W2K. And I can't set different resolutions on 19' and 15'.

The fact that i can't use different resoultions is only half of problem (I have heard something like that from both ATI and 3dfx - both claim that W2K treats two chips/monitors on one board badly). Another half is that even if I use just zoom on another monitor sometimes it's 56Hz or smth. like that. (resolution manager is a help at that point)

    Anyway, here are two problems:
    1) W2K support of G400 (SP1 I think)
    2) Matrox support of W2K (PD 6.x I think)

I can live with that, I am just interested in when will I be able to use DH normaly.

    This is definitely a Win2k problem ...

If you need to set your two monitors to different resolutions, you'd have to go back to Win98 (or SE).
