  • THANK YOU Mark Veneziano!

... for the win2k Resolution Manager. Win2k redemption is here!

Here's how to get the modes correct without having to reboot all the time. First go to the Monitor Settings tab in Win95/98. Uncheck "Use Simplified Monitor Controls". Center all the modes you use with the refresh rates you want, and copy down all the parameters it shows (Front Porch, Sync, Back Porch) along with the centering controls. Plug these into Win2k Resolution Manager. Enjoy.

    You're very welcome!

Your idea for using the Win9x monitor settings to get the settings for Win2k is a good one, as long as you still have Win9x available. I wiped it away a long time ago!

Hopefully PD 5.1x/6.1x for Win2k is right around the corner...
