Its been even longer for us G200 and VIA users. I just looked and the 5.41's came out last NOVEMBER. Please, Matrox, get us some new drivers that will do D3D without crashing.

Having said that, I would still rather wait a while longer and have them work well than to have another set that has problems. I can afford to be patient since I don't play that many games anymore. But I'm sure the gamers are getting antsy.

            Goddamit.
It's driver day, and what do we get......
            A bloody BIOS update
Oh well, there is always next Friday I guess.
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.

Of course, since it's a national holiday over there today (and Monday) maybe the release will come on Tuesday: yes, I'm a glass-is-half-full kind of guy...

Mind you, the current driver is working ok for me - just OpenGL needs a bit of work. Monitor customisations are what I'm waiting for. I do feel sympathetic for you G200 users though.

                    Hey HedsSpaz,

I heard that Liveware 3.0 caused many probs that were gone with update 3.1 ...

This bios update doesn't look like its worth the trouble. I'll wait for new drivers.
