  • The balck borter with Mtrox MJPEG

How has been resolved the problem of the black edge up to the video captured with the Marvel? The Matrox has not still resolved the problem? How can be resolved the problem? There is some good programmer that can analyze the files of the Matrox and correct it? Help!

If you are talking about the black border on the left edge this doesn't affect your output video. It's well into the overscan area and is clipped when shown on an in-adjustment TV.

Unless you want to take Still Snapshots of RAW video, then it sucks pretty bad. Still it can be cropped out in Photoshop, but for most people, it should have to come to that.

Doc is correct that it is not a problem if your goal is output to tape.

But it most definitely is a problem, that Matrox has completely ignored, if your goal is an MPEG. The resulting transcode shows a black border on the top and left edges. Problem exists with both G200 and G400 versions of the Marvel.

The problem is not a function of the codec used for output.
