    What OS and what programs you have running in the background?

    Matrox DVD player wont play

    When I try to run the dvd player that came with my g400, it just says, "another application is preventing playback" and exits ??

    Anyone know whats up..

    Athlon 750 Asus K7M 256 M RAM

      It's the Ravisent player.

      1st step is to make sure that your sound card is set up properly and isn't sharing its irq. Ravisent will pop up that message if it doesn't see your soundcard properly.
