It's the @#%!^ apeture setting for AGP.

    Get this:

At 256MB Apeture, I only have 45MB or so of texture space.

At 128MB Apeture, I have 96MB of texture space, but the computer refused to get past the POST half the time.

VIA needs to get off their asses and fix their drivers, or I need to buy a V5-6000 pronto. :-)

Well, my KX133 board won't even allow setting my AGP aperature above 128 MB. And it's not that I don't have more RAM either. I'm not sure if the VIA chipsets implement AGP very well!?!

Mad Onion has a short note about it. If it is the same as the Windows 2000 problem then they have ruled out drivers as the cause, so it's either DX or a problem with 3DMark.
