    4. Q2 will start but if I change to default opengl it kicks me back to desktop
    5. dirx diag locks up on direct x test the spinning cube ... if i disable dir draw it works
    6. Oh yeah I did get an error message a couple of time in q2 like gp fault eax like my sound card may be part of the prob.
Q2 will work in software and i set my desktop to 256 colors and then when i tried to go to opengl it just defaulted back to software. I know it has to be 16 or 32 to run opengl I was just pissed off

    Hi 3putt,

You did not mention which motherboard you are using, but I have some things you can check that you have not listed that you tried.

First, make sure you have your AGP frequency set to 2/3.

Next, try clocking your celery back down to default frequency.

Also let us know what motherboard you are using if you have no success or don't know how.

        Hi 3putt,

Make sure you have DX6.1 or higher installed as well. There should be no problems running your G400 on the BH6 (I did for many months before I got the BE6). Another thing to try is to put your memory latency settings to 3.

Have you tried getting your USB on IRQ10, and sb 16 emu. on irq 5?

Edit: What version of windows are you using?

Are you running the latest bios for the bh6? I know there were several issues with previous bios for the BH6 and Win98SE. If you have ACPI enabled in your bios, disable it.

That is possible, but I would do a few more checks. If you have motherboard monitor, monitor to a log your 3.3 v reading and run the game and then look at the log and see where the voltage was at.
