hi Guys,

The Matrox Tech Support forums is only open during the week and completely closed during the week end. Only the admins, moderators and tech support people can post there during the weekend.

You should try again monday morning... since this will probably still be faster than e-mails.

OK, I'll try...

I'm getting a total Windows lockup, when I use the latest 5.03 PD drivers under Windows 2000. If I go into OpenGl screensavers, and select the properties of the 3D Flowerbox.

Anyone else get this, or is it my system???

I don't have Windows 2000 but I think your main problem is that the G200 is sharing it's IRQ. Try to find a way to give the G200 an IRQ all to itself.

Would that meaning losing the ACPI enumerator? As I understand it, a Windows 2000 ACPI system, grabs one IRQ, and then all the PCI devices are shared under "virtual IRQ's".

Anyone know how ACPI works with IRQ's and if this could be causing my problenms?

I don't think your IRQ situation is your problem. I think you're correct about ACPI and W2K.

Even with ACPI you should be able to fix your IRQ problems by assigning an IRQ to a specific PCI slot in your BIOS... ACPI may look good but still not perfect.. problems do arise.
