  • Anyone using Netmeeting with 5.22 drivers?

I've been having BSOD crashes with Netmeeting today. (It doesn't bring the whole system down, just NM.) It'll work for a few minutes just fine, then it's gone. I just reinstalled it, but it's still crashing. It did not ever do this until today.

I'm trying to figure out what happened. One change I've made since I used NM last is upgraded to the 5.22 drivers. (Also upgraded to DX7a.) Maybe this is the source of the problem, maybe it isn't. Anyone else using NM with the 5.22 drivers? Any problems?

Frankly, the leading suspect is my POS AOL 5.0 service. One of their automatic updates ran a few days ago. Save the flames on the AOL. Also, no one needs to defend the drivers. They work great in every other way on my system.

Using a 3Com Homeconnect USB camera. (Vicam)

Netmeeting is causing the error, though. The question is why.

Do you have the newest version of netmeeting (3.1). I haven't tested in a meeting yet but a quick test over my home network seemed fine, no BSOD.

Yes, I have the newest version. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to test it again to see if the problem is still around. Probably is.

Unfortunately, I now have bigger fish to fry. I bought a second stick of 128MB Kingmax PC133 CL2 RAM, and it's causing programs to crash a lot. Ah, Windows. Gotta love it. I've got it working now, but only at 3-3-3 on 100 fsb.
