How does Ant feel about the Matrox Forums?

I was just wondering how Ant feels about the Matrox Forums? As well as everyone else? I personally think it's cool how Matrox wants to help their customers.

I just wonder if Protege has lurked on the MTSF long enough to see that anyone outside of MTS answering there (inappropriately) will be removed?? Make a joke and you're deleted.
Ask a wrong question in the wrong forum and your thread gets closed, without a given explanation.

At least you're moved to the appropiate forum, and most of the times you're told why, here!!

And do check the opening times...

Well that's life, Matrox have seen how popular the MURC forums are and have followed suit The Matrox forums are designed as another tech support channel and will be tightly controlled and run only in office hours (to post that is). I'm sure Haig and the other Matrox bods will will still be hanging around here as they always have.

No, Ant is not hosting it, nor did he do the pages for them. It's all Matrox, and on their own server.

It should be a good extension of their tech support, but it will not replace the "community" we have built here. If people need official tech support, they have another option now. But there will be no chatter allowed. It will be heavily moderated.

MURC will go on

And if you think it looks similar to these forums now, you shoulda seen it a couple of weeks ago in it's "beta" stages. It was a dead ringer

Actually I think that there is nothing that could concur with these holy halls.

I see it like an improvement in their customer support and when still somebody starts screaming that Matrox wouldn't take care of their non-OEM customers, I'll support his booty ...

Anybody remember how it was about a 1.5 years ago ?

Ya, But I think that it under went huge changes within that time frame because of a change in Management. They seem to be doing alright now.

Turbo, the forums look similiar because they both use the same software, The Ultimate Bulletin Board. This is probably the most popular forum software in use on the Internet.
