    for those who use linux, what is the best linux driver for the g200? i've tried searching for these drivers but can't decide which is best.

    checked out the matrox forum and it looks alot like this forum!

    g200 sd, celery 333@416, sb pci64, 64MB
    - it's outta date i know!

    i think this thread should be in Alternative Lifestyles, but anyway...

    It depends, if you are talking about a 2D driver, the one that XFree86 uses should be fine. It certainly wouldn't be worth it to use/pay another X server just for minor little differences in the driver. As for 3D, i think the only one is the glx driver that you can grab at utah-glx.sourceforge.net, there are instuctions there
