Well, where I reside in Western Canada, everyone pronounces it may-trocks. Never heard it pronounced a different way. Actually, on some of the U.S. hardware review site videos I have watched, they pronounce it may-trocks as well. I will be interested to see if this is incorrect.

If they want it pronounced Mattrocks, then proper King's English would require them to spell it with two T's - Mattrox. That's going to take some getting use to.

Well thanks guys, I didn't expect to get so many replies. Sorry if it's been asked so many times before, next time I'll search the archives.
Anyway, I just bought a vanilla g400 16mb the other day, and I'm really happy with it.
I had a 3dfx velocity 100, it was fast and ugly at 800x600 and couldn't do 1024x768. Basically, it sucked!
BTW how do you tell what kind of ram you got?
I can't o\c my card past 135mhz without getting weird rainbows and snow.
                          Thanks again

Just in case somebody cares in Portugal we pronounce Mah-trocks. Not very far from how it actually was suposed to be, I´m surprised.
