  • G200 probs in Win2k (G400 users can read as well tho hehe)

    Remember G200 cards ya all?
When I use Worldcraft (Half-Life level editor for those not in the know) I cannot choose anything in the 3d window it has. It renders the program useless, and by golly it just sounds like a vid card driver problem to me. I've tried asking Matrox via e-mail, then knew diddely.
So, anyone using Worldcraft here? (G400 users too, seems like the drivers are pretty alike in many ways)

To add insult to injury I can't run Photoshop 5.5 either, and that program does work in Win2k, thats for sure. Not for me tho, the symptomes aren't specifially videocard driver oriented tho, it just crash-closes. (right as the ICC Engine has initialized, thats a bit vidcard oriented I guess). Any G200 users using Photoshop running Win2k around? Adobe hasn't responded anything yet btw, damn slow lamers.

Because if just one of you guys/gals out there can run Worldcraft or Photoshop under Win2k I guess it's time for some good ol' reformatting, sigh hehe.

    I'm running Win2k RC2, Photoshop 5.0 and 5.5 work just fine.

This is, however, with an Imagine 128 Series 2 8MB video card. I have yet to install my G400MAX, because, well, it doesn't work in RC2.

Although this probably doesn't help too much, at least Photoshop 5.5 "worked" on w2k.....

Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow? But why put off until tomorrow what you can put off altogether?
