  • How to force AGP*1 under w2k?

    cause agp*2 gave me lockups under win98 and now under w2k. the registry hacks doesn´t seem to work.

    Try Powerstrip ( http://www.entechtaiwan.com ). They have some command line options you can use to force AGP modes and I believe they work in Win2k as well.

      actually i don't think that agp 1x or 2x won't work on win 2k,because if you go to the device manager,you'll see the card listed as a pci device(i get the same thing with my max and Geforce),looks like there's one more bug to fix in win2000.
      note to self...

      Assumption is the mother of all f***ups....

      Primary system :
      P4 2.8 ghz,1 gig DDR pc 2700(kingston),Radeon 9700(stock clock),audigy platinum and scsi all the way...

        That is normal. An AGP device really is a PCI related device.
