  • BeOS Users?

Well this is a call out to see how many people here use BeOS? And also whats the story about you mentioning BeOS release a R4.6? I never knew that. I thought they where going straight to 5 from 4.5.2? Hmmm weird...

      Hi Gozu,

      I'm also a little into Be-ing
Be.com has a text in the news where they say that g400 will be natively supported from 4.6 on. The version 5 is supposed to be Open Source.

Been using it a bit since 4.5 came out. I only have a G200.

5 isn't supposed to be "open source", just freely available. (and actually, hardly that- the freely available version is a bit stripped down.)

            I've got 4.5.2 with a G200 here.

I have been using BeOS since Preview Release 1 for the PPC. I am in the process of building a bp6 based x86 rig specifically for using BeOS.

I'd very much like full support of the latest video hardware.

BEos 4.5.2 fan here, but I'm not using it again until support for my G400 comes. ^-^

(Come on, hurry up with that 4.6!)

Well whether or not 4.6 sees the light of day or gets shunted on into 5 I do know from what I have been told the OpenGL support for the G400s is looking very good, stable and fast.
