  • Problem with PowerDesk 5.30

After the installation of the PowerDesk 5.30, my PC, during the power down, doesn't want to turn off. The PC seems off, but the monitor have a lot of vertical dot-line. If I turn off manually, the next time the PC say that it wasn't stop correctly. What I have to do?

    My configuration is:
    Motherboard ASUS P2B / Pentium II 450MHz
    Marvel G200 PowerDesk 5.30 / VideoTools 1.51
    Live!Basic with Live!Ware 3.0
    128 MRam
    CD-ROM 32x Samsung SCR-3231 Fw S101
    CD-RW Philips CDD3610
    HD IBM 14GByte 7200rpm

    Windows98 / DirectX 7

    1. Make sure you have the latest BIOS from ASUS for the P2B.

    2. Run "msconfig" and turn off "fast shutdown".

    3. Download the shutdown patch from Windows Update.
