    What exaclty does that do???

    If you prefer accuracy above performance you may want to enable it. It affects the accuracy for depth (Z axis) calculations.

      In my opinion I wouldn't recommend enabling it. Some applications don't react to well to it. However it looks great when enabled in games that support it.

        I enable it and always got a performance increase according 3dmark programs. In the real world you won't notife any differance.
        If your system is working well leave it be.

          The only real use I've found for it so far, was when I was trying to enable stencil buffering in Quake 3 with the TurboGL. Q3 went HOM crazy when I didn't have it enabled. Other than that, if you're working fine without it, don't bother...

            32-bit Zbuffering made my system SLOW on games that don't crash.
            My hardware:

            Matrox Millenium G400 16mb
            Asus P5a-b super socket7 motherboard
            K6-2 300 processor
            128mb pc-100 SDRAM

            My software:

            Matrox bios version 1.3
            Matrox drivers 5.41
            TurboGL 1.0002
            Motherboard bios version 1009b1
            Directx version 7a
            Windows version 98SE

              enabling it doesnt make a damn bit of difference for me, so i keep it on.

                Why don't you try it and see if you like it? If you like what you see, keep it on. If your games slow down too much, just disable it.
