G400 Max - Streaking Problem After Tweaking to AGP 2x
I had some problem after using the AGP Info program to force my system to run from AGP 1x to
2x.
My system configuration is as shown below.
PIII 667 BE (coppermine) - 133 FSB
SD133 128 mb Mitsubishi ram on board
Microstar BX-Master motherboard 440BX
Sony 19' GDM F400 monitor -- 1600x1200 32bit 85Hz
Window Media Player v6.4
DirectX 7.0a
Matrox G400 Max Dual Head 32 mb - driver ranging from v5.5
My original problem was :- I noticed that I was running at AGP 1x despite the using the Matrox
G400 Max card with the 440BX board. I was expecting at least AGP 2x.
My display is set to have dual display.
After running the AGP INFO program -- the system booted up with AGP 2x ... But there are now
multiple diagonal streaking lines across monitor moving from left to right.
I re-installed the entire Matrox Driver -- the streaking only disappeared this time round if I am
running single monitor .... Is there something in the system registry which I must change ?
