  • Does the OEM 16MB G400 NOT come with TVOUT?

I bought it thinking it was supposed to based on the website I got it from and it did not.

    Thankyou

No it does not, but you can get the DualHead/TV out add-on from Matrox's site. Around $80 Cdn I think.

Thankyou... I didn't really care, just more curiosity... it's for a friend's system.

Do you happen to have experience with this OEM card?

I'm having crazy problems with it, and i've already made a post about it.

Pehaps if you don't mind, maybe you can read it and tell me what you think.

      Thanks

I responded over on your other thread...

Yes I have an OEM 16mb board. I've experienced some problems with flickering horizontal lines, as have others with early revision boards. Other than that, I love the board.

A 16 meg OEM can support TV out IF it is a DUALHEAD model.

          That's the key....SingleHead=SINGLE output, DUALHEAD=DUAL output.

          Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

            Kruzin, thankyou.

But thing is, I had been under the impression that SingleHead would have TVout, except it would be the "dependent" kind where the television image would be that of the computer monitor, rather than NO TV out at all...

Since DualHead offers seperate video output from that seen on the monitor.
