Cool, but it hung, crashed, and re-booted my puter! Seems it doesn't close properly.

Himself, thanks for the link. That is one cool screensaver! Sure beats the heck out of the "Mystify Your Mind" included with Windows...

        Cheers!

I think this Screensaver is great...
          BUT:
it does not run properly on my System.
I have a G400 32MB SH and EVERY OpenGl-Screensaver seems to use Software-Mode (you know running with 0.3 fps can not be hardware-accelerated!)

I don't know what to do.

          So please help!

If I were having problems I'd reinstall Windows/restore last working backup using Ghost. Windows by nature doesn't gracefully uninstall things so conflicts tend to pile up, especially if you install a lot of widget programs like ICQ, shell extensions etc. My system is optimised for reinstalling Windows however, your mileage may vary.

              Hi Stormeye,

make sure your desktop is not set to 24bpp ...

Choose 16bpp (HighColor) or 32bpp (TrueColor) instead.
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

That is a very nice screensaver Himself. Here is a link to another gem. They want a few bucks for this one, but it has a very large variety of patterns, and it can use DX Direct Draw as well. This is my "permanent" screensaver; http://www.syntrillium.com/snoqualmie/index.htm
