Problems with mpeg2 and marvel g400 tv!!

When i try to play dvd's i get the blue window fatal exception error screen, so i thought it was only a problem with dvd's, and then when i tried to load an avi that i encoded as an mpg it gave the same fatal exception error screen, so I'm reasoning that there's somethin wrong with my computer detecting mpeg2 files. Help anyone?

Here're my system specs.
athlon 550@800
western digital u66 13.6 gig 7200
128 pc133 corsair ram
ethernet card
sound blaster live value
pioneer 10x dvd

What kind of fatal exception error screen ?
i had the same problem with asus p2b.
i readed threads about irq problem and aperture size and so it fixed the problem.

my fatal exception error blue screen was error when write on c:

search and find

it says fatal exception error on 0D occured at 0028:0000000B

anything i can do about this?... how do i fix the irq's?

I think you can assign irq with the system bios of your card.
if you don't have the doc, try this

so you also use function search of this forum to read topic about irq sharing and g400.

on my system asus p2b, all was good, no problem detected with win98SE and the only problem was fatal exception error when i try to read dvd.

every time i had to make scandisk after this.

i readed topics on this forum and solved my problem with reassign irq.

yeah i still don't know how to move around the irq's ... but i can finally run dvd's using powerDVD 2.5 when i try to run it off of the dvd player that came with the marvel it still has the same crash... even though i can now watch dvd's.. i'm still curious as to why it wouldn't work with the other dvd program...
