  • 217D (4Amax) versus 2179 (A max)

For those of you with a new G400 4A version - could you test with sisoft or pci - it appears that the product id for the new 4A max's is 217D which sisoft reports as a millenium 16mg sdram (funny - isn't it)--the A G400 max tests as a 2179 which matrox has reported is the G400 sequence - or it could be (from sisoft) that this is an oddball card, one that has been manufactured with an incorrect subsystem id or a dodgy oem who has not bothered to correctly program the chipset's subsystem id (maybe a bios upgrade), or is just the new oem code and sisoft and pci have to adjust..any ideas??

ps - at 2x, the cards test identical
