  • TurboGL

The G400 TurboGL does not list any of the games I have. I might buy UT.

In a PIII system, does this GL do anything for you over the standard driver for games not listed in the download txt?

    Thanks,

It provides big speed increases for supported games. You'll note the supported games all use the OpenGL API.

You really should run UT in D3D mode. This is really a Glide game, and the manufacturer describes the OpenGL implementation as "experimental." Some would replace "experimental" with "poor."

Direct3D runs fine on the G400.

KingPin simply rocks when run with TurboGL ...

I guess you can try to run ALL OpenGL games with TGL, even if they are not on the list.

I heard that Tribes also runs quite pleasing.

My G400 MAX is great in D3D for UT. Not even oc'd, I run 1024x768x16 with all detail and sound on. Great.
