  • DVD Cinemaster dvdgenie settings

I know that many of you are using the supplied cinemaster dvd software and dvdgenie to play dvd discs. The new dvdgenie 3.24 has a nice feature especially for the g400 auto tvout mode switching!

I think it would be nice to know what kind of setting you all use.
    My settings:
    Decode settings: full cpu,
    Sample rate: 48000 Hz,
    DeInterlacing: Force weave,
    enabled hardware optimization,
    enabled 3:2 pulldown,
    Overlay: flip Trident Neomagic,
Surface flip position: Bottom of the overlay (TNT/Voodoo3/Matrox/Intel),
    Sound compression mode: normal,
    AC3 downsample mode: filter5(I don't use this),
    AC3 SP/DIF Audio Type: 0,
AC3 SP/DIF Out Mode: sblive with old cm98,
    Dialog Normalization enabled,
    Triple Buffering enabled,
    Enabled SP/DIF,

My sblive passes through dolby digital ac3 perfectly, Therefor I haven't got any prologic settings, lfe encoding etc.

    config:
    Abit bx6 rev.2, PIII-450, 128Mb sdram, g400dh32mb 4a, sb live player 1024 ct4760, Toshiba 6X dvdrom,
    To:
Sony kp41pz1 wide screen using s-vhs cable
    Sony str-db830 ac3, dts receiver.

I am very pleased with this setup. I have one minor artifact with playback If the background of a scene is hardly moving and in a gray color I can observe some pulsing in the background 2x/second.
Working...
