  • Chip TV BO release of MG400TV ???

    May be this question is stupid but...
    somebody knows what's the release of "tv chip" in BOB's Marvel G400...Is it BT678 like
    WinTV card ?

    It's Matrox' own chip - known as the Maven - Nothing to do with BrookTree (The makers of the BTxxx series chips). What revision it is? I don't know.

            Ah, hold on. Not that it really matters, but I've understood you wrong. I thought you meant tv-out (which is the maven chip), but you meant TV-in, Sorry. Anyway, I'm not too sure about the TV in, but on my Rainbow Runner-G Series, I can set it up to view SECAM broadcast channels, which is what I believe is the variation on PAL which is used in france? Can anyone else help here?
            The hardware compression chip for video capture is a Zoran chip if it helps.

            If you mean encrypted channels, I don't know of any software which will decode on the Matrox hardware. Try over on the DTV forum and see if they know.
