  • PICVideo 2.0 upgrade

For those who have the PICVideo software MJPeg codec, and those who want to get it, there is a new upgrade at http://www.jpg.com/video .

Just overwrite the original installation and your serial numbers will be preserved.

It now lets you specify (or negate) 2 fields if the frame height is over 240 and has some quality improvements.

Is it safe though, i dont wanna put it in and then run into 200 problems with my g400tv. In fact should i even be putting this in? i thought matrox has their own codec called DMB1 i think?

I just played back some Matrox MJPeg clips and generated a new MJPeg clip from within MSPro and had no problems at all. In fact it's a bit faster than before.

FYI,.. I installed this software with my G400 Marvel TV.... It messed up my video playback. I just saw a black screen even though I could hear the audio. I went back to the Matrox mjpeg drivers and it is fine now...
