  • G400 Overclocking

This topic I'm sure has been covered a lot but I'm a new G400 32 meg DH OEM owner and want to get the best speed out of Quake 3 and Unreal Tourny as possible. I've heard you can overclock pretty good if you put a 486 cooling fan on the chip. Has anyone done this? Any advice, etc? I'm running on an Athlon 500/MS6167 setup.

    thanks

I have the same G400 and I ordered a heatsink with a fan to mount it on the backside of the G400 chip.

But how do I keep it in place ?

Just glueing it on the board doesn't seem a good idea to me.

    Any ideas ????
