  • G200 TVO

I want to know how to use Windows 2000 Professional
to output to TV successfully. I have tried BIOS dos enablers, which work
for win2k pro's dos prompt, but will not work for win2k itself. I have a
G200 Mystique and it just so happens that you have the drivers for win2k
for Millennium only. I need the drivers for the Mystique G200 card if
possible. If a beta is available I will take that too. Win 2k
Professional has a special way in playing .mov files so that no frames are
skipped. It uses a different movie decompression or something that I am
unfamiliar with. I will explain more details if necessary but what I need
is either a) those drivers so I can output to TV, or a name of a video card that is guaranteed to output to TV (because I will go out and buy it if necessary)
or b) a way to play movies in windows 98 or NT 4.0 as fast as they do in Win 2k Professional. (I cannot seem to get win98 or NT4 to play movies as smooth as they do in win2k pro. Win2k Pro doesn't drop any frames, and the quality is remarkable. I've tried using windows media player (downloaded newest version) to play .mov files in win 98 and NT 4 but they won't play because they are missing codecs which will not download because they cannot be found... I've tried contacting tech support many times and I'm a bit disgruntled. Please help.

(I've also contacted tech support at the manufacturer's site (matrox), other Matrox forums, Even the WHQL:P, Macromedia forums, Microsoft concerning: codecs, media player, Microsoft forums. I've come up empty handed)
