  • Win2000 + 5.00 beta = CRAsh, boom, bang...

    Hi !

Can someone help me out with this little problem ?
When i try to install the 5.00 betadriver for Win 2000, then after rebooting. The screen goes blue, and says something like "...... vidoeportqueueDpc in driver videoprt.sys. Then it asks if i have installed any new hardware recently, and tells me to remove it. The i have to, start in safe mode and uninstall the drivers to get the machine to reeboot BY THE way, i am using the NT drivers, since i couldĀ“nt get win2000 beta 4 drivers to work either. It is a pretty old version of win 2000 a pre-release (not even a Beta)

    Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The current beta drivers are intended for RC3 (build 2183). I don't think you will have any success getting them to work on anything earlier than RC1 because W2k was not actually feature complete until then.
