  • Hey guys! anybody doesn't really know?

I am veeery surprised that anyone really doesn't know the answer to my last message.
Or is it that nobody really cares?!?!

I am tired of watching 320x200 demos in
grey scale just because I don't know how to get those damn modes work.
Is it really so that here is not anyone who knows scene?

For crying out loud! It's been 20 mins since you posted your question! Considering it's only just gone xmas, most people are at home, drunk. And that 320x200 is such a LOW priority for everyone, give us a chance!

Anyway, try out the vbext.exe that comes with the BIOS package for DOS VESA support.

Yea...what Steve said. Have an ounce of patience. Just because you didn't get an answer in 20 min doesn't mean nobody knows, just that we have lifes other than catering to you and you questions. Do you think we are sitting in waiting for you to post a query just so we can leap to your aid? If you require live, realtime feedback, try an IRC chat room...

ok. i am sorry ,but being in internet is veery expensive... and connecting to internet is even more expensive.

Because I have to pay for every minute that I am in the 'net, and for every call to the 'net.

        so I apologize you all.

ahh. To live in someplace that I don't have to pay for every minute in the 'net...

Ouch.. having to pay for connecting to the net and for each minute hurts.

Where do you live anyway that you get screwed like that?

              Same thing in Germany ...

at least we have some providers that are paid per second and not per minute.
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...

Oh the joys of living in the great US of A where I pay a flat monthly rate and can connect anytime I want for as long as I want without having to pay anything extra. Maybe one of these days other countries will see the error of their ways and offer the same deal. But at the very least I would be looking for a different provider.

Man ! In France, we only had ONE operator until a year ago. That operator had total monopoly and other operators were only allowed early 1999. Still the original company owns most of the communications network so we'll have to wait until other providers web their own to really see interesting prices...
As to US flat monthly rate system, i've been drooling over it for years but it'll probably never see the day in France...
