    Is the new turboGl bringing a good performance gain even with a celeron ?
    I know that it is compatible but I can't find nowhere where there's a comparaison, so I tought I should get to the source.
    I't was this issue that restarint me from getting a G400 a few months ago

    The new turbo GL is only oplimised for the P!!! and the Athlon. Matrox has told me that they are looking into a Celeron P2 and K-6/2 Turbo GL.

      jackzod ther are results of the new turboGL all over the forums and yes it is celeron and K6-2&3 compatible!
      According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

            Jakzod, my Q3 scores went from 24.5,fps with everything maxed at 8x6 to 38.5fps, by using the new tgl. My specs are below

            ------------------
            AsusP2B ,iCeleron525(7x75), 128megs PC100, G40032megSH, Yamaha PCI sound, 2 small HD's, 42X Sony CDrom and 98SE w/shutdown patch, PD 5.41 w/Turbo MCD and beta ICD

            AMD XP2100+, 512megs DDR333, ATI Radeon 8500, some other stuff.
