  • 3D Mark 2000 "is there a fix for the flasing colors"

    Anyone found a way of running the Helicopter demo with out all the colors of the rainbow :P

    I mean this is not how it's supposed to look so why am I getting this problem.. :[

    + the lack of single texture rendering WTF's up wid dat ?????

    Its a known bug in the 5.30 drivers, you have to upgrade to the 5.41 drivers

      Those colors where fixed with the 5.41 drivers.
      Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

        I was using 5.41 then I changed back to see if there was a lot of difference in the two,but forgot to revert to the newer driver again ..........DOH............ thanks again cos the problem has gone and the demo looks sweet now :P

        BTW when I used to bench with 3Dmark 2000 I seem to recall that when the 64 Mb test came along it would say not enough memory!!!.

        Which would be correct because the card only has 32Mb,but ever since I forced agp X2 it does the test and I get a respectable 86 FPS is this correct ???? Regs Matt {:O)

            Don't forget to change back to 5.30 if you want to use the TurboGL driver.
