  • Is this a graphics problem?

I've recently got a G400 32Mb and I'm experiencing some weird stuff that I think may be due to the card or drivers.
    I've got the 5.41 drivers & 1.5 bios, running Win 98SE (running 16bit @ 1024×768)

If I have any programs running before I use DUN to connect to the internet, the title bar of the program flashes and changes position slightly. I then have to close the window to remedy the problem. Could this be a graphics problem? Or could it be my monitor (Iiyama Vision Master Pro 17"- about 4yrs old)? Or any other ideas?
    Thanks,
    Susan

      Hi Sooze,

I've seen this with my AT&T software while logging on. I experienced this with the 5.41 series of drivers. With the latest builds I've tested it has been fixed, so this is just a driver issue and will go away with the next G400 driver release. Your monitor is just fine

        A few further questions:
Maggi, how do I disable VSync?
Paul, was this a problem with drivers before 5.41? Is it worth trying them or waiting for the next release?

          Hi Sooze,

This also happened with the previous drivers as well.

You can get the PD5 Registry Hacks and other utilities here:

          www.murc.ws/Utils.html

You will also need the Uninstaller if you haven't got it already.
