  • G400 and DirectX 7.0

Are the G400 Drivers optimized for DirectX 7.o or is that scheduled for a future release.

DX7 is supposed to have much better texture management. will that solve the 'stuttering' in MS Flight Sim 2000?

Should we wait to convert from DirectX 6.0 to Directx 7.o until the new G400 drivers are avialable??

Go ahead with DX7. Some of the newest games and benchmarks require it.
I have had no problem running DX7 and 5.41.

Thanks, I have a G200 and just ordered a G400 Max. Should I go to DX7 before I install the Max?

It won't hurt anything to load DX7.0 now. Also D/L the latest(5.41) drivers for the G400 MAX. Then you'll be set to install the MAX.
