    Hi,

Here are things that you can check :

    - no IRQ conflicts with any cards
    - Latest Liveware! version
    - Close down all running task in the backgroud except for SYSTRAY and EXPLORER
    - If you have a CPU or Motherboard monitoring program, shut it down
    - Disable the CPU and Mobo Temperature reading in your BIOS (if you have such a thing.... I am not a big Asus fan, so i would't know)
    - Try placing your Virtual memory on another drive.. yours might be full
    - Bring down that damn aperture size down to 64 or 128... having it at 256 is pure nonesense and might even slow down your system
    - If these are games using a CD-ROM, play around with the Cache size for your CD... even try with no cache on the CD
    - Enable DMA on your HD and CD
    - Defragment your HD

This should give you at least something to play with for a couple of hours

Also match games resolution to desktop resolution.

And if you use an Active desktop, turn it off for games.

And if your wallpaper is "stretched" to fit your desktop, tile or center it.
