  • Which is best Non-Matrox TV card for G400?

So who has a G400 running bug free with an add on Non-Matrox PCI TV tuner & capture card? Future Shop is selling an Avermedia TV98 PCI card for only $50 Cdn after rebate (that's like $33 US) I just can't afford the Matrox rainbow card ($229 Cdn) for my DH G400.

Who has had success with these other cards.

Dude if I had million dollars Sure. Why don't
you stroll over to the Canadian Matrox store
for a reality check. 15% sales tax to add to the misery of it all and imagine that your net income your spending is after a 48% income tax.

Now you know why I'm looking at $50 TV card.

I have a Hauppauge WinTv Theater card and it works great with my G400MAX. I describe it in the post listed below, and some others talk about thier tuners.

I used a stb-tv pci with my g200 and it ran smooth and never a problem, but I haven't tried it with my g400 yet, but I wouldn't imagine there would be much difference.

It was a good cheap card, only about $60, and now they have better versions with stereos and better interface.
