5.41 problems and possible solutions !
System:
AMD k6-2 350mhz,64 megs pc100,EFA viking III motherboard,g200.
No go with 5.30,had been using 5.25.Always the optimist,installed 5.41.
At first choppiness in QuakeII and distorted sound.Tried 1024x768,(matching screen resolution)Game ran smoothly.Sound good,no choppiness.
Changed screen resolution to800x600 and set resolution in Quake II to match,game ran smoothly.
Image quality=excellent
Speed= 5.25(no complaints)
Thought I'd pass this along for those having problems,and if anyone else has solutions post them here.
In that way whining could be held to a minimal and Kruzin won't have to move half the forum over to The Soapbox.
