Here's a link to some info Greebe shared with us. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000650.html
Also Epox is meant to release a Athlon board in December, which I'm interested in seeing tests on.

Without a long diatribe....I have been thru 3 mobos (2 FICs and 1 Gigabyte) and none worked...the last FIC, the later rev, 1.8) was better...but finally got the Asus K7M last week, and so far, everything is working great...Only problem is the ATX Power Supply connector being adjactent to the CPU...but I think with a Global Win FKK and a 60mm fan on the clear side, and a 50mm on the CPU side, it might work ok...plus, I can always mount the 50 mm fan higher up on the heatsink to clear...Also, Step thermo has some 3, 4, and 5 fan combos that they gurantee to fit ANY K7 Mobo...
Anyway, if you get the FIC make sure its the later revision mobo, the 1.8!!!
BTW, I have no experience with the MSI, but by the forums I have read, looks pretty good...
Asus lets me oc my 650 to 700...also, I can run thermistors (2 of em) to keep an eye on the temps...

            Hi there..

from what i've been reading around it seems the Asus board is the best choice for now, and the MSI board comes in the second place... but keep in mind that Epox, DFI and Iwill will ( ) also launch their boards pretty soon so stay cool for a month or so!
